A long long time ago, when I was 16 years old, Jamie & I always sang the song "Jack & Diane" by John Cougar Mellencamp (yeah, Indiana boy!). We liked the part that said "Hold on to sixteen as long as you can. Changes come around real soon make us women and men."
We were a little bummed when we turned 17, but we moved onto a new song. "Dancing Queen" by Abba. "Dancing queen, young and sweet only seventeen."
