$1 Busch & Busch Light??? Sweet! The bar was pretty cool, but would have been a little more entertaining with more people in our group. Then we headed into DeMotte to hit up Holly's. I like Holly's. It definitely feels like home there.
Saturday: We got up in the morning and headed down to the lake. We spent some time boating with Lee's family. Then, that night, we went to a party at our friend Okus' farm. Steven Okus farms about 3,000 acres near Battle Ground, IN. He supplies about 90% of the area's sweet corn. Yum! He has some good sweet corn! Anyway, this was your typical country party. We had:
A bonfire. Lee had to get it going. Very manly.

Good friends & beer! Here is Lee with one of his best friends, Zach, and Zach's girlfriend Elise. Interesting story, Elise is Zach's sister's sister-in-law. Yeah, confusing. Basically, Zach's sister is married to Elise's brother.

Beer pong in the garage! I played one game against Lee & Brad. I lost, but not by as much as I would have guessed! I was happy with it!

There was a guy in a leather vest too. Not surpring, he was driving a Harley.
Sunday: I went in to Lafayette to eat lunch with my mom. Lee hung out with his family and Grant came up to visit. Grant has a good Fathers Day story. If you have some time, you should check it out. After some tasty steaks with Lee's parents, we headed home to DeMotte.
It was a great weekend. SO nice to have my husband home, even if it was only for 5 days. Fortunately, he'll be back again for the 4th of July in 3 weeks!
