I made it to Fubar's and we headed over to the Piano Man. We got there pretty early so that we could see the beginning of the Sox/Cubs game. They had some great food, a keg, bags, ladder golf, flippy cup, euchre, and lots of guests filtered in through the day. We had one storm that sent us all behind the bar for shelter, but otherwise it was a nice day!

It doubled as a fork. Clint also used it to drink his beer.
The wrench also helped out as a dj. And we used it to play flippy cup. I wasn't very good with the wrench, but Tony was awesome at flipping the cup using the wrench. The wrench was definitely the MVP of the cookout. There were plans to steal the wrench (Clint wanted to carry it around in his belt loop), but at some point in the afternoon, someone from the bar took it away. We were crushed. We had really bonded with the wrench over the day.
Talk about a big game of flip cup! 10 people on each side. We had a lot of amateurs, and team 1 had to deal with that annoying ledge, but it ended up being a really close match! GO TEAM 1!! We ended up tied 2 to 2. The game was abandoned before we could play the rubber match.
I discovered a new love... Ladder golf. Or, I think that's what it is called. I am totally going to be buying one of these very soon! I kicked major arse at it. I'm guessing it was because I was at that peak level of drunkeness when you are really good at games (darts, pool, bags, beerpong, etc). I'm sure if I had kept playing I would have fallen over the drinking cliff and sucked at it.
We hung out in the bar for awhile and played some jams on the juke box before heading down to the Cubby Bear for Sixteen Candles.
The tamale guy even made an appearance! I haven't seen him in forever!!
Sixteen Candles was already playing when we got there. We somehow convinced Clint & Tony to come with us. After about 5 minutes, Clint was convinced that the band was pretty awesome. They played some new tunes and everyone was rocking out.
This guy was clearly a huge fan. I was a little worried about standing in front of him since he seemed to be so "excited" over the band!
We chilled a little longer at the Cubby Bear. Fubar and I chilled with our good friend the Captain.
At the end of the night, Krissy & Liz accompanied us over to the Taco Bell. I had the Lauren Coleman and Fubar had a pretty giant meal. We definitely both ate more than we should have, but it was delicious!
What a day!! Thanks to Amo for organizing the cookout & to Fubar for letting me stay at his house!

Wrench = MVP!
Clint: I love wrench.
Fubar: Clint, do you really love the wrench or are you just looking at random objects behind the bar?
Clint: I LOVE WRENCH!!
I believe that game is called Hillbilly Golf. It may depend on the venue you play in. We saw people play at Indy 500. It was definitely Hillbilly Golf at that point.
