Aloha!My mom and I just bought our plane tickets. At the end of July, we are going to visit one of my mom's oldest friends (from high school), Dawn. She runs a camp on the Big Island of Hawaii called Body Temple Bootcamp. The camp is a little bit pricey, so we are not doing that. We will be staying on the camp grounds though (for $35/night, can you beat that?), and tagging along with some of her workouts and meals. I am so pumped! Dawn eats "raw", which I don't see me enjoying. I like my steak medium, thank you. But, I'll try about anything for a week, so we'll see!
I do feel some pangs of guilt though. The dates that we are going to Hawaii happen to be over Lee's 28th birthday. He is scheduled to be out to sea, though, so I wouldn't have been able to call him or see him anyway. And, I figure he is the one that got to visit Dubai, Greece, & Italy while I was sitting in the midwest freezing my butt off.
I can't wait!
Now I just need to get my freaking camera fixed...
