According to the show Sam Horrigan is a Party Promoter. The first impression you get from him is TOTAL DOUCHE. With his Blue Steel-esque facial expressions and his incessant flexing he is rather annoying. But, I have found myself cheering for him... This is mainly so he will stick around and continue saying ridiculous things. When he was first on the show, he was talking about how he didn't understand why the Geeks didn't just "act cool". Oh, Sam!Not surprsingly, one of the ditzy beauties, Rebecca, totally fell for Sam since he is apparently her type. She probably became interested when he did his stripper lap dance for the beauties. It was CLEARLY not the first time he had done that. He had the moves down pat. Sam & Rebecca angered Sam's partner by getting it on in the top bunk while she was in the bottom bunk. Classic!
Sam has actually done really well in the competitions, however. He won the debate challenge and the bottle rocket challenge. This week's episode was no different. The Beauties had to teach a 3rd grade class. At random, they got one of three topics to teach: geography (basically the states), fractions, or dinosaurs. Sam happened to draw dinosaurs. He did great explaining them to the 3rd graders. Once he got in the hall with his partner he says something to the effect of: "We were supposed to say whether dinosaurs shoot fire out of their mouths or not. I couldn't remember. I don't think they do, but I wasn't sure." Are you SERIOUS? Dinosaurs are not dragons!!!
Anyway, it turns out that Sam is actually an actor, complete with a profile on IMDB. It definitely makes me wonder how much of his persona is acting. Oh well! It's still entertaining!!!
