Absolutely EVERYONE has them. It does make car trips a little more exciting since you get to try and figure out what the heck they mean, and sometimes why in the WORLD you would want that on your license plate.
Some of my favorites that I have seen:
MTHLUVR - clearly a fellow math nerd.
PRN Rx - Lee thinks this one means "porn doctor". I think it is probably some sort of nurse. Although porn doctor is way more interesting.
